Our story

Farmacia Galatzó opened its doors in 2005 in the quiet Galatzó residential area. After a long struggle by the local residents to obtain essential services near their homes, Margarita Rosselló Gomila was responsible for bringing one of them—a pharmacy—to the neighborhood.

From the very beginning, Margarita dedicated herself to her work with the care and attention her profession deserves, always giving her best in every consultation.

A graduate in Pharmacy from the University of Navarra, she continued her studies and specialized in hospital pharmacy through the FIR program. She worked for several years at the Son Dureta hospital pharmacy.

In 1984, she opened the first pharmacy in Ariany, where she worked for eight years. This small town of around 1,000 inhabitants allowed her to maintain a very close relationship with each patient. During this time, her daughters, Pilar and Ana, were born. Both have fond memories of the town where they were born, as the locals were delighted by their pharmacist’s motherhood.

In 1992, she had the opportunity to return to hospital pharmacy at Clínica Rotger and later helped open the new Clínica Palmaplanas, where she was in charge of establishing the pharmacy service until she was granted the pharmacy we know today—more than 20 years ago.

Her extensive hospital experience gave her a strong foundation in patient care and great expertise in pharmacy management.

Following in Margarita's footsteps, her youngest daughter, Ana Salvá Rosselló, decided to pursue a career in pharmacy and studied at the University of Valencia.

But Ana doesn't just want to maintain what exists—she is excited to grow the pharmacy her mother built with so much effort. She is especially focused on improving services while preserving the high-quality patient care that Margarita has provided throughout the years.

Both love their profession and emphasize that it is the close relationships with patients that make their work fulfilling. However, they also recognize the need to adapt to technological advancements in pharmacy, which led them to create this website as another way to stay connected with their patients.
